Recently we caught up with Tash who is a valuable member of the Sales team at The Home Inspection Hub and has just celebrated her six-month work anniversary, having started with ‘The Hub’ in February this year.
Describe your job in one sentence. I’m the first point of contact for clients and provide quotes and assistance both over the phone and via email. I then book in and coordinate jobs with our fabulous inspectors!
Why do clients choose The Home Inspection Hub for their inspections? Our friendly sales team provides on- the- spot quotes and provides sample reports to help clients weigh up their options. Our inspectors who work Melbourne-wide are all highly qualified and incredibly experienced, and this is reflected in their detailed inspection reports that we send to our clients within 24 hours of an inspection. The communication between inspectors and our office team also contributes to the high standard of service we are proud to provide our clients.
What makes you good at your job? I am friendly, I can multitask (just keep my coffee mug full) and I love to keep busy! I have a strong work ethic and I enjoy coming to work. If you love what you do, it comes across in your interactions with clients and colleagues.
Why do you like working for The Home Inspection Hub? The people! My colleagues never fail to make me smile (and yes, sometimes cry with laughter). Everyone is friendly and supportive and have been incredibly welcoming from the moment I started. The Hub is also close to home which enables me to do a job I enjoy while being there for my four children, who range in age from nine to fifteen.
Name three things on your bucket list. I’d love to visit Disneyland and stay at the Plaza Hotel in New York in December to experience a white Christmas. Yes, I am a huge fan of the movie Home Alone! A cruise to Hawaii is also ‘on the list’. And who wouldn’t want to see the Northern Lights and visit Santa Claus’s Village in the North Pole? As you have probably worked out, I’m also a huge fan of Christmas.
Finish this sentence: I can’t live without… The three Cs – coffee, chocolate and – candles! Coffee is life! If you want to impress me, buy me a tall skinny cappuccino. Coffee is a ‘hug in a mug’ after all. To complement that coffee, a bit of chocolate – or – a lot!
I can’t live without candles, which is why I run my own handmade soy candle business in my spare time. As far as I’m concerned, all good things start with ‘C’ – coffee, candles, chocolate, and more candles.
