The Home Inspection Hub is excited to welcome a new member to the team.
Tayla has joined our sales and customer service department and is already an old hand with our inspections booking system, inspector calendars and the flow of a busy week in The Hub.
She found time in her busy day to sit down with us and tell us a bit about herself.
What brings you to the Hub?
‘Although I was enjoying my previous role in the motor vehicle insurance industry, I was ready to move onto a more challenging role, and that is certainly what The Hub provides! I enjoy being passionate about my work.’
How has your past experience helped you in your new role?
‘I have always worked in customer service in both face-to-face and, more recently, phone-based roles, which is why The Hub is such a good fit for me. I love helping people – it’s what customer service is all about, after all. If I can play my part in helping someone to buy their dream home, then that’s a win for me as well.’
What can customers expect when they book with The Home Inspection Hub?
‘The Hub is a fast-paced business – we offer prompt, professional advice, exceptional customer service and a quick report turnaround time.’
Any challenges you weren’t expecting?
‘I have to be honest – not really! I felt comfortable from the start with my new role – it helps that I enjoy my job and like coming to work each day.’
You seem like a ‘people person’ – do you think that helps you in this job?
‘Most definitely! My role involves talking to people every day in a number of ways– over the phone, via email and in person. I’m always engaging with people, so it helps that I enjoy this part of my job.’
Everyone has a ‘happy place’. What’s yours?
‘Well, I have a few! I’m happiest when I’m spending time with my family, having a cheeky wine with the girls or watching my mighty Geelong cats.’
What do you want to achieve in 2021?
‘I’m keen to achieve as much as I can! I’m keen to learn the business development side of my role at The Hub later this year. My partner and I recently bought our first home, and we have some big plans in store for renovating and making it truly our own. Lots of exciting things ahead!’
